Weslaco's annual election meeting and member awards presentation was recently held.  New officers and board members for 2013 have been elected, and Weslaco members that have gone "over and above the call of duty" were recognized.

Thank you to all of the 2012 officers and board members that have worked hard to keep Weslaco Sportsmens Club alive and well.  A special Thank You to the Willoughby Elks Club for allowing us to use their facility during the winter months.  Membership meetings are now back at the club grounds.

As usual, Michelle put on a fabulous event.  This year's Annual Members Banquet at Hellreigels had lots of great food and raffle items for all.

Gerry the Bacon King is stepping down from his post running the very successful Turkey Shoots the past few years at Weslaco.  Princess Michelle fashioned Gerry's appropriate crown.

Not only is Don Y a fine shot, but he can make biscuits that will make you cry they're so good.  The Weslaco girls were treated to Don's great biscuits along with a bunch of other great food.  All prepared by the Weslaco guys to show their appreciation to the Weslaco ladies.
